We ususally stay in a 4 BR home in Windsor Hills and book through Florida Sun Vacation Homes. We like Windsor Hills due to the close proximity to Disney (5 minute drive to Animal Kingdom), the fact that it's gated and the extra amenities such as the pool area with slide, ping pong tables, etc.

If you want a little less expensive, then look at Emerald Island (gated), Windsor Palms (gated) or Indian Creek (not gated).

Please note that these communities are all located in Kissimmee, FL and are 3 miles or less to Disney.

We stayed in a 4 bedroom townhome with private pool at Paradise Palms and booked through Florida Scandi. Would definitely recommend. They are newer and have nicer resort facilities than Windsor Hills.

Second vote for Paradise Palms......you'll love it. Stayed last year..returning this summer.

We stayed in a 4 bedroom in Indian Creek, Loved it! Pool, game room, master, junior master, and 2 bedrooms with twin beds, had pull out sofa too. Really close to the parks, we used the Sherberth Road shortcut, but still close without using that road. Rented from moremouse.com it's lowery's vacation homes. Great to work with. Will book with them next year again.

We rented a 4 bedroom from an owner on vrbo.com in 2011. It was in the Eagle Pointe (South) neighborhood ~ $550 for 8 nights. I think the owner has moved their site to the homeaway.com website now in case you decide to search for it.
