Are the ticket wrist-bands water proof ?

We do love the idea of the wrist-bands for our ticket format

Easy to wear - everyone has their own, no more DW collecting
and keeping track of the "paper' ticket

But can we go into the resort pool with the wrist-band tickets?

Can the wrist-band tickets get wet - as in soaked under water?

Yes, they're waterproof I wore mine while swimming the entire time.

Yes! They made a point of telling us this at check in that they are completely waterproof. We didn't submerge them in the pool, but they did withstand the torrential rains we had!

Just to be clear, the magic bands are not a ticket format. Tickets are electronic and linked to your account. The bands are linked to the account and have access to your ticket information. You can still get a ticket in the form of a card, but it still links back to your account.

yes magic bands are water proof.
you can get them wet in the rain, pool, or even shower.

i find it so much more convenient when i want to go swimming cuz i don't have to worry about keeping track of my room key and putting it in my towel somewhere cuz its now on my wrist.

By spec, they are safe to 20 feet deep. that should cover anything you;ll encounter at WDW.
