Are the morning FP times affecting RD lines?

We had planned to go to TT at RD and FP Soarin, but now that I've been seeing FPs as early as 9 am, how long is that standby line going to be???

Just my opinion, but as Disney regulars for many years, we saw a much much larger crowd waiting to get in (first week of May, supposed to be a crowd level of 5) than we expected. We went right to the Land. DH and I don't walk all that fast (he doesn't so I slow down!) and we went in the standby line and it was saying 10 minutes. Probably was but we didn't stop more than twice while walking through the line.
When we got off, the standby time was 65 minutes and it wasn't even 9:20 at that time. We decided to have a cup of coffee and sit a while and just people watch. When we left the land (also did Living With the Land with no wait) the standby for Soarin was down to 55 minutes.
I guess more and more people are using their FP+ at 9 or soon after.
Beats me. Glad I'm not going to have to deal with it!!
;)
