Yes, we're back, and we had a great time! It's very different without kids though, so I'm now really looking forward to our Oct trip. Soarin' is amazing!

Oh Fiona ... how awesome ! I'll be thinking of you lots that day! Where are you staying for your b-day trip? Make sure you celebrate enough for both of our b-days 'cause mine isn't going to be in Disney Are you still going in October too?

Mary-Liz - We are staying at Pop for both vacations. We are still going in October too. I'm am so excited as we've never been at Christmas time and I want to see all of the decorations. We get to go to MNSSHP and MVMCP the same year.

We are only going for 5 nights in December but it is over my actual birthday so I'm excited. I will celebrate for you too!!! We can share a cake later in the month!!

Welcome home Mary Liz! I didn't realize you were back already either! I loved 'Soarin too and was very lucky this summer to experience it also at Disneyland.

Glad to hear that Susan is doing well and that all our Pixie Dust is helping her!

Fiona, you will love all the Christmas decorations! Where are you going to spend your birthday dinner?

I would love to go back at that time of year but we are going back for another long weekend November 10 - 14, (Mary Liz??? ....those $49 SWA fares do it to me every time! ) and they will have started putting up the decorations in the resorts.

I'm actually looking for suggestions for my birthday dinner -- anywhere except Victoria and Albert's cause Jim said no to that. He actually said he wasn't paying more for dinner than our airfares and hotel.

My parents just left this morning (they live about 6 hours away) and we had a marathon planning session last night at the supper table ... the kids decided that this year, our first ride is Soarin'...followed by a quick monorail trip to hook up with Buzz and Stitch

...and papa wants to go back to Morocco for lunch..

So already I know that the "no hopping option" is a no-go!!
