Are the Kids Clubs chilly?

We're sailing the first week of April on the Magic and I assume the kids are going to be wearing shorts and short sleeved shirts. Is it chilly in the clubs? What about late night if we bring them in their PJs? Anyone have their little ones complain of being cold in shorts in the clubs?

my dd's wore sundresses most of the cruise. The only time they complained of being cold was in the room! (my dh had the a/c set for as low as it would go. The dd's froze at night. I forgot to ask if we could have more blankets! ) They seemed to be really comfortable in the labs.

Hopelea, be sure to ask for additional blankets next cruise. They will gladly bring them. On our cruise, "then Ladies" by 80 something Mom and Aunt wanted extra blankets and extra pillows since they are both cold natured and have some physical issues that require them to sleep with I think 3 or 4 pillows each. One request to their stateroom host and their wishes were quickly fulfilled.

I think like any other indoor space, the club/lab can sometimes be chilly but when we toured it we saw lots of kids in shorts and sleeveless tops or t-shirts who didn't seem to mind.

Crystal- you should join our cruise meets thread! I have a 7 and 4 year old, but I am thinking about moving my 7 year old up to the 8-9, she will just be a couple of months shy of 8 when we sail and is pretty mature for her age. My 4 year old will only be a few months shy of 5, but she is the complete opposite and I'm leaving her right where she is! Jump over the the cruise meet and introduce yourself, I think we've got about 10-14 groups of people there right now! Christy

Hi Christy, I'm not sure how to get to this cruise meets thread. Can you communicate with other people cruising with you or is it just a list of people going. It seems all I could find was the list.Thanks, Crystal

The cruise meet thread is actually a place to get to know the others that are going, not just a list. If you look at the top of your screen, you should see
The DIS Discussion Forums > Disney Cruise Line> Disney Cruise Line Forum.
If you click on the words Disney Cruise Line, it will take you to a page with forums to choose. Click on Cruise Meet and it will take you to a forum and you can hunt for our thread "April 2, 2005 First DCL Cruise-Anyone Going?" and there we are. Let me know if your still not able to find it. I know there are probably easier ways to tell you, but that's the way I get there.
