This might sound like a strange question. I know most people rush off to get their FPs and then you go back during the time stated on them (i.e. 9:30-10:30am)
My son has special needs and has the use of a GAC (Guest Assistance Card). We don't usually arrive at the parks right at opening...closer to 9:30 or so. If the lines are manageable for him, we use the mainstream access line. If not, his GAC allows him to enter through the FP line at attractions that offer it.
My question is: Are the FP lines open early in the morning, or are they roped off until the first time stated on the printed FPs? I think I remember trying to go on KS at AK once and the FP line wasn't open. I believe the same thing happened at the very end of the day, too, because there were no more FPs given for the later time period.
Whew! Lots of words for a little question! Anyone know the answer? TIA!
