i never have got them before, but now with 2 kids, wondering if i should and i wasn't sure if they were meant more for "toddler" size, etc? thanks!

No, they really aren't. We took my daughter when she was just under 15 mos old last year and she is TINY. We had a stroller we brought from home, but ended up having to rent one at MK one evening when we left it back at POP. We just got a single stroller for her and it was fine, wasn't too big for her at all.

Just a little side note for you for thought. Both of my strollers at home, travel system stroller and umbrella stroller, have a bin underneath them to store stuff (i.e. diaper bag) and I rely on that heavily with toting stuff around. Of course, the Disney strollers don't have this. I had bought a little pack that attaches to the umbrella stroller that can hold more stuff without tipping the stroller over since that its bin is smaller than the travel system bin. I tried putting that pack on the Disney stroller and it nearly tipped it over (my daughter was not in it at the time, of course, but even with her in it I had to make sure to bear some of my weight down on the stroller). So, plan on carrying anything you need, and know that if you try to drape anything on those strollers (i.e. bags with food, clothing, or anything you might buy) they tip a bit easily. Maybe it would not with a double stroller, though :)

Hope that helps!

I wouldn't use a WDW stroller for a 15 mo baby. The strollers are hard, plastic and don't recline. If baby wants to nap in the stroller, it doesn't seem like it would be very comfortable. Plus, if you rent a WDw stroller, you won't have a stroller for getting to/from the bus or parking lot, or for getting around at your resort.

We always used our own strollers until the kids were about 4, then we rented if necessary.

Is there a place where you can see pictures of the strollers?
We haven't needed one in years but when we did we preferred renting once they were old enough to sit up well. I seem to recall that the different parks had different strollers. I thought they did recline?
We preferred renting, dh would just carry them from the tram or bus into the park and back. It was so much easier NOT to have to fold up the stupid stroller for the bus, which requires taking the kid out and holding them anyway:confused3

If you don't have strollers and want to rent, check out Orlando Stroller Rentals. Lots of people have said how great they are and much cheaper than Disney. They carry the City Mini Jogging Strollers.

we have 2 kids, DD was 13 months when we went and DS just turned 5. (this was in May).
We brought our stroller, but on our epcot day we rented a stroller for DS since it was hot and lots of walking.
The baby, though, LOVED the Disney stroller. I'm not sure it would have been great for the whole trip, but she absolutely loved it and crawled into it whenever she could.
I was surprised because it is hard plastic, but both kids seemed to love it.
It was just the right size for her, and oddly just the right size for DS as well.
And, it was super easy to push.

I would rent a stroller from Orlando Stroller Rentals if you won't be bringing your own stroller. They are much better quality (very comfortable!) and will be cheaper than renting from WDW if you will be needing one for more than just a couple of days. They are $70 for a week for the City Mini Jogger. OSR will deliver the stroller to your hotel, then you just leave it with bell services when you are done. Delivery is free! They do have double strollers too if you need one. :goodvibes:wizard:

My DD2 has been riding in the green Disneyland strollers since she was 4 months old. Naps and all. Very comfy and DS5 still gets his own stroller too because I'm a crazy mom who drags them at full speed from park open to park close :)

Are the Disneyland strollers hard plastic like WDW ones, or are they still the jogging type stroller? We took DD9 to DL when she was 14 mos and they had jogging strollers (or something similar) at that time, which were very comfortable for a baby.
