I'm going camping (1st time at FW! :yay: ) near the end of June, just my DD and myself, and we're bringing our bikes. I'm pretty sure I remember reading that there are bike racks around the resort and just had a couple of questions: first, are they near the bus stop to the parks? And second, are they covered, so if it pours while we're in the parks, we don't come back to piles of rust? :scared1: I'm not so much worried about them being stolen, since they'll be locked up, as I am them being unprotected from the rain. Thanks in advance! ;)

I don't think they are covered but FL rainstorms are no different then any others and I don't think your bike will rust up in one afternoon. :) Though I guess coming from Phoenix its a little drier there.

Most people would just cover their seat with a plastic bag. Are your bikes made out of something that rusts that quickly. :goodvibes

There are bike racks at the Outpost, Marina, pools and trading post. I have never seen any covered bike racks.

Wow, those were mighty fast replies, thanks! :goodvibes They're made of the new material just out now, rustofastum; cheap as heck but rusts as soon as they get moist. :lmao:

I live in Lakeland, FL, which is about 45 minutes away from WDW, so I'm totally familiar with the rain :crazy2: and of course they wouldn't rust that fast  but if we weren't able to dry them off it might start the process, or in my daughter's case, make it worse, as her bike already has some rusty spots. Of course. I'm really looking forward to camping there; haven't been yet, usually camp at the state parks. Anyway, thank you so much again for your help. :goodvibes
