Are the beds at values comfortable?

Hello:

Have friends thinking about booking a value resort for a vacation. They have been to the french quarter and loved the beds there. Anyone who has been to a moderate resort and a value resort are the beds just as comfortable in the value resort.

Thanks,

Deb.

IMHO The beds at POP were hard as a rock. The beds at ASMo seemed much better.

We were so tired at the end of the day that we never noticed the beds at Pop being uncomfortable. I do think that the beds were a little more comfy at CSR. I've read that ASMu has really comfy beds now with the refurbished rooms.

Sooo wiped from running all day we could sleep on a concrete slab...
We sleep on a Sealy foam top at home, so no bed can compare but I sleep just fine from value to deluxe.

I have to agree with PP. We're so tired by the time we hit the bed, we hardly notice. But if I remember correctly, we had no complaints with the beds at any of the resorts.

I have a foam mattress too and a really bad back. I usually have to bring an airmatress to sleep on whe nwe go to hotels becuase I can't stand their beds. POP's bed was awesome. It was just right for me. I slept wonderfully and my back did not ache at all.
Now that being siad, I have heard that they have just a bunch of different matresses there. So you could get a softer one or a hard one. I have heard of people getting rooms changed becuase of it, and I ahve heard of new mattresses being brought in for people.

I've stayed at both POR and the All Stars. I've never noticed the beds being uncomfortable. Usually I have problems with the pillows at hotels, but I've never noticed it at Disney. As others have said, perhaps I'm just exhausted at the end of the day.

After a long day in the parks, I have never met an uncomfortable bed. :rolleyes1

I usually notice a difference in the beds between values and moderates - mostly with the pillows. With that said, the worst pillows we have ever used were at Pop. On occasion, we have had luck when asking for additional pillows at the values - sometimes, they bring nice ones but it is hit or miss.

I like the French Quarter in this regard, if I am choosing between value and moderates. ;)

After reading about the bed bug problem they just had at all Star movies in the news I am a little freaked out.

What they said. ;)

The bed bug thread worried me some too. I haven't had any problems so far. I hope the luck holds out!

Was just at All Star Music in DEC and the beds were very comfy--:thumbsup2

We are always so worn out that it doesn't matter what the beds are like! I don't remember them being bad though, not like mine at home, but fine nonetheless.:cloud9: Any bed at Disney is better than the alternative!

The newly refurbished All Star Music have the new pillowtop mattresses.
They are very comfotable.
Many other Dis'ners have commented that the beds at Music were more comfortable than those at other values.
