Are the $99 tickets upgradeable?

There are still a few places that I can get the 99$ 7 day/2park tickets. Does anyone know if they will definitely be usable and upgradeable next year? I am torn between an annual pass and these $99 tickets!

As long as they aren't activated, you can upgrade them.

I just called Universal. They said that they would be valid and upgradeable, as long as i upgraded before the end of last day of use, does that sound right?

we've used them @ the park gates. Im a worrier, so i've always saved my receipt & brought it along jik any questions as to being valid so i could go back to vendor if needed

the one thing many are not aware of is you can upgrade your passes even on the last day of their validity.
the value is the same.

you can call the ap hotline and ask on that number if you can use the pass upgrade towards the ap renewal.

I was wondering if the 99$ ticket will be upgradeable to an annual pass. I wanted to get the tickets for the $99 rate. By the time of my vacation (6months from now) I might have a clearer picture of whether or not we will be in Orlando within that next year. If we will be, to upgrade to an annual pass would be great, if we won't be in Orlando for any vacations for that next year, I don't want the extra cost.

Yes, you can upgrade them to an AP as long as you do it before the tickets are used up/expire. So you must upgrade before day 7 on the ticket.

It will only take off $99 plus tax on the purchase of the AP though.

Seems like a great deal....Pay $99 for the 7 days and on day 7 upgrade (with additional cost difference) for an AP and get to go anytime for a whole year....do I hear second trip and third and fourth!

i just called universal 866-PASS4FUN and asked if i could apply a 'new/unused' tix toward renewal of PAP & was told

N O

only allowable @ park gates toward purchase of a new annual pass

i was told the idea was for 1st time guests to become passholders during their stay

is this correct or should i call again?
