Are some resorts seasonal on Sky Auction?

I'm wondering the same thing after looking at the getravelop website. I've waited a little too long for May I guess, and now only 1 BR availabilities are showing up. Any chance something with 2 BR will show up in a week or two as it gets closer to May, or should I just forget booking through this channel? I'm also waiting for CPGV to show up for October--or even Silver Lake, but I'm worried that these selections will all disappear soon. It looks like to me that the choices are far fewer this year than they were for last year. I also have a friend who is a member of RCI. Can they book something for me, or is that not done? I don't want to wait too much longer, but I'm not sure what to do for May at this point.

Sweet Mxine--

We booked our October condo relatively late last year and had plenty of choices right up until we decided on Silver Lake. I don't know how much of that had to do with the hurricanes, though....we didn't even decide to go to Orlando until after Labor Day. I had a choice of Summer Bay, Silver Lake, and CPGV consistently for about a week. We went the first week of October, before Columbus Day...plan to do the same this fall with an arrival date during the weekend of 9/30-10/2

That doesn't really answer your question, does it? LOL...just adding some thoughts. :wave2:

sweet maxine

there seems to be a "shortage" or two bedrooms lately....or maybe they are just breaking the lock offs into one bedrooms .....thus making more "inventory" available ......but one with full kitchen and one with partial kitchen.....we may be seeing the last of really good deals on skyauction

we snagged Polynesian Isles for November of RSG but this was the first time i had ever seen Polynesian Isles listed

as far as your friend goes.....they can get guest certificates....but in real terms they are not suppost to "resale" weeks they can book ...RCI has been known to monitor such activity...????

Well....There must be some moving and shking going on with people planning Spring Break vacations, there were 3 condos to choose from this morning at the armed forces site . Silver Lake-Silver Points was there, but only for the 1BR unit...I need at least the 2 BR there :( I guess it pays to keep looking!

so this is why there are no orlando timeshares in bonus vacations? i guess it will be this way in the summer also. i am looking at the begining of june but want 10 days was looking at the bonus vacations. really need a 3bedroom. what resorts are good off of sky auction? how is the best way to get one and meet my needs for dates and size.
