Are reservations easier to get for only 2 adults?

DH and I are going to be there 3/8-3/15 - we just booked in the last few days and I finally have my confirm# and plan to make some calls for reservations hopefully tonight. Should I be concerned if I'm inside 90 days but am only a party of 2? We are flexible but we also don't like eating dinner at 4 in the afternoon either.

Also - what are the hours for the reservation line?

Thank you!

no, if anything they are harder.

Coral Reef doesn't have any tables for only 2.
Le Cellier has a few
Cindy's has 3.

Easy Places:
Crystal Palace
Teppan Edo
Tony's

Dining is open from 7am-10pm Disney time (eastern)

Hubby and I made all our reservations for 5:45 for our TS dinners....Biergarten, Le Cellier and Crystal Palace....all were just the two of us......we didnt have any problems getting a table......Of course this past September we were only able to get one reservation because our trip was only planned a few weeks before we left.....and free dining was in full bloom...

Good Luck

I had some trouble getting exactly what I wanted, and we are a party of two going the week after you. I didn't call right at 90 days--I think it was around 80 days out when I called.

I have never had any problems with it except for Le Cellier. We have booked last minute alot of times and have always found a ton of available ressies.

I have always had problems getting good times as a party of 2, and that's even calling the first day of my reservation window 6 months out. It's like they only wanted to give the very late or very early times for each meal for parties of 2. Parties of 3 or 4 seem to be the easiest to get reservations for in my experience.

Just a minor update - CRT has a fourth table for two. There were only three for a long time, but I've eaten at all four of the tables for two, three of which have great views by the window.

At Coral Reef, I've gotten ADRs for two, and was seated at a larger table. So despite the lack of physical table, parties of two shouldn't give up on eating there.

In general, I've made reservations for two for many years with very good success. Admittedly I don't go during peak seasons, so that might be a factor. Are those March dates during Spring Break, or some other high attendance time?

I've been moving and rearranging and creating and canceling my ADRs as late as last night, and we'll be there in one week. We only have two adults in our party and I haven't any trouble whatsoever. :woohoo:

I think it does depend on when you go. I normally go during Free Dining and New Year's Eve.
For NYE even at the 6 month mark I had trouble, but got everything I wanted within 1/2 hour. The only thing I had trouble with was Le Cellier which I booked a table for 4, because I can't easily sit where their tables of two are it's very disorianting for me. I have no problem being sat somewhere else. Even though this time I was told it may be up to an hour extra wait (I was seated within 5 minutes of checking in)

When DF went in March a few years ago we didn't have problems at all. We only had minor problems with a May trip last year.

We got everything we asked for for our upcoming anniversary trip in February. The only things we had issue with were times. CRT only had availability for a very early dinner...and Le Cellier didn't have dinner times at all. All in all though...pretty happy with what we were able to get even with making our adr's only 2 months out.:goodvibes

I called today for tables next week.

Got Jiko at 7:45pm
Got Brown Derby for 6:10pm

Could not get Teppan Edo for a decent time. The only thing available was 4:45pm

It's my experience that 2-tops are easier to get for walk-ins than for larger tables. My wife and I have done this on several trips. Just be a little flexible with the wait, have a drink in the bar area and tables seem to always open up.

The only exception to this seems to be Le Cellier.

Thanks everyone! I booked last night - got everything except Le Cellier (completely booked all week for dinner). All reasonable times, Coral Reef is a little late (7:50) but better than early for us. Doing 50's PTC, Tutto Italia, Coral, Yachtsmans, Nine Dragons and Fulton's. Still have 1 open night so we'll see what we may be able to get a walk in for that night. It's our arrival day and I'm not sure how tired we'll be by evening anyways.

Grand Floridian Cafe in Grand Floridian, we just got back from November, we loved, me and hubby had steak, loved it, waiter recommended it. Nephew got pasta, wasn't on the menu, but they had no problem making it, it was a huge huge bowl. The dessert was fun, fondue!!!! Plus, its so nice to walk around there, the gingerbread house was up and its so picturesque. Another fun option is Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club, great burgers and desserts, we walked right up to eat in November and got counter seats, which is fun because you get to see them make all the desserts. Enjoy!
