Are requests supposed to be written on confirmation letter?

I made a room only reservation at the ASMu and requested non smoking jazz building. The agent on the phone told me there were no guarantees that I would get my requests but that they would take note of it.

I just received my confirmation by mail and there is no mention of my requests....Is this normal or should I call back to see if my requests were actually written in the computer system?

I would call just to make sure but others have reported that they are in the computer but not printed on the confirmation.

When I got my confirmation letter, I did not have my request for BWI noted in my letter. I called WDW Reservations and they had all my request on the computer.
I stayed at ASmu about 6 years ago, gave my request by phone and fax, and did not receive them. I am sure no matter what bldg. your in you will have a great trip.

For both our trip in May and also our upcoming trip in September, all of our requests have been noted on our Confirmation Letters. Not sure if they always do that though. By the way, we also got all of our requests in May and a re hoping for the best for September. LOL Rebecca
