Just wondering if refurbishments are a guarantee....

I noticed that Casey, Storybook, and Petting Zoo will be closed during our stay...is this a definite? Our stay is 1 month away.

Thanks.

I've found them to be pretty accurate on my trips. Of course, you hear stories of rides opening back up a little early too.

Ok Thanks....what do you think of the petting zoo? Do you think that will stay closed?

Everything at DLR is subject to change. With that said the refurb schedule tends to be fairly reliable. Disney does not want to put out misinformation.

When the refurb is announced on the official Disneyland website, it means it will go on.

As far as the reopening date is concern, it does happen sometimes that it opens earlier but I would say that for regular work (such as on Casey and Storybook Land), it will go on as schedule, both closing and opening dates.

I'm assuming you mean Big Thunder Ranch. That one will definitely be closed because they close to put up a Halloween "overlay".
