Are Priority Seating Reservations New At Rain Forest Cafe?

We've never made priority seating reservations before at RFC. Is this something new? We have the Safari Club Card and we only had problems one time since we've had it. I guess I wasnt' aware they were around last time. Were they? We went in Feb of 2002

We made a PS for RFC at AK in May of '01. I was under the impression that it was a new thing at the time.

The last time I heard you could make a PS at the AK Rainforest through wdw-dine. For the Downtown Rainforest you had to call the restaurant directly.

I made Ps for RFC at Ak along with my other Ps.

We've been able to get PS for Rainforest Cafe in the AK every year since it opened. In the beginning, I think PSs were only available two weeks out - not sure because concierge always takes care of ours.
