There was a thread a while back about flameless candles - real wax candles that have battery operated flickering lights inside, rather than an actual flame. Many people said they bought them.
I am about to purchase them for the holidays, and hardly any websites seem to carry them anymore.
QVC, which had a huge selection of sets and sizes when I looked several months ago, only has one or two sets with the remote controller, which is what I wanted.
Were these just a quick fad? Did people's flameless candles stop working? Did all the QVC shoppers buy enough and as you don't need to replenish these as with regular candles, there just aren't enough customers for QVC to restock them?
If you bought a set that has a remote, is yours still working? Does it end up turning on & off the TV instead?
