Are our rooms linked??

We are going to WDW in two months and have three families going but at different times. How can I tell if we are linked togeather for our rooms?? I was the first to book, the other two said they put us down to have the rooms linked togeather. Does it say on their reservation?? should I call disney with all three confirmation #'s and link them togeather?? Or do they have to call???

I know that Disney will TRY to keep you near each other. You didn't say which resort this is, but some are better at "people pleasing" than others.

If it is possible, I'm sure you will get your request. You can't make a request for someone else, though. Each will have to call and ask for that to be put on the reservation.

Reason - How does Disney know if I even want to stay near others in my group? They need a representative from each room to state that this is what they actually do want.

You will not see on your reservation they are linked, but the CM can tell from the computer. It means that your reservations are linked together, which means you wish to have rooms located near each other.

If you want connecting or adjoining rooms, you have to request that.

I called today and asked if we were linked with anyone else and they said no.. I just had to give them the other party's confirmation # and their address and then I could link them to our reservation. They also gave us a (i think she called it..?) travel gathering number. She said that was a number that will be attached to out reservation and it links us together. Thank you for your help!

1) Any ressie can be linked.
. . . best if arriving on same day
. . . rooms can be moved around a bit top accommodate closeness
2) But, if not arriving same day, you could be FAR, FAR apart.
3) The reason
. . . the job of "ROOMS" people is to fill the resort
. . . they are judged and rated on "fill rate percentage"
. . . to do so, it is like a Rubik's Cube
. . . one has to jostle rooms and dates to get the best combinations
. . . so, two arrivals could be in different parts of the resort
. . . or, right next to teach other

When I talked to her I told her I knew that they would do their best to accommodate us and I also put in a request too! No problems if we do not get it... it is going to be BUSY when we go so they will do what they can do for us!
