Mine were happily married until my mother passed away, then my father re-married. So no, my parents did not divorce.

No.. My parents were very happily married until my dad died at the age of 70 from cancer..:( Mom is going to be 91 in September..

my parents seperated when I was 7 and divorced when I was 8. They actually get along really well now.

They married young (19 &18) and just grew into different people.

My parents were married for 62 years. Dad passed away four weeks ago.

I voted no. My parents were married for 31 years before she died. However, my dad was married and divorced four times (to 3 different women) before he married my mom. It took four times before my dad learned the lesson to not marry sluts! He remarried 3 years after my mom died, but they only had 2 years together before he died suddenly from a stroke.

Mine got divorced when I was 2 months old, remarried (each other) 4 years later and got divorced again about 3 years ago (when I was 32). They had a rough couple of year when they split but now on better terms than they were during most of their marraige. I love them dearly and they DO love each other but they have never been good for each other-they neber did figure out how to BE together in a healthy way.

My parents separated just before I turned 2 years old and were finally divorced a year later. Neither remarried. I had a bad relationship with my father until I was 14, when we stopped speaking. The day before my 31st birthday in 2005, I found out via internet that he'd died 6 months earlier.

My parents divorced Aug 2007. It's been 2 years, and they're back together. I don't understand why, hardly anything has changed. :confused3 I don't think they are going to remarry though since a lot of their issues were money related.

My parents married in 1960, and were together until recently when my mom passed away (I hate cancer).

Mine separated and then divorced when I was a baby. My brother was 2. Both of my parents remarried. My dad remarried quickly  and my mom remarried when I was 9.

Mine were married their entire adult lives until my father passed last year at age 65. Their marriage had good years and bad - but the last few years were good... :goodvibes

My parents were married untill my mom passed away from cancer 8 years ago. It was a strained marriage, my father has PTSD from his time in Vietnam, but they loved each other. He got remarried shortly after she passed, had a meltdown, ended up in treatment and is now getting divorced. I hate to say it, but I think unfortunately his happiness died with my mom. She was the glue that held him together.

Mine separated when I was 4 and divorced a year or so later. My dad doesn't know the definition of monogamy. Neither remarried.

Both came close to remarriage early on but my mom's would have meant a relocation to California (from Illinois) and my dad's...well that is a messy story.

My parents were married just short of 64 years until my Dad passed away last year. When he was dying he would repeatedly tell me "I love you kids, but not as much as I love your Mother". The two of them were so entirely devoted to one another through thick and through thin. Even now I can tell my Mom misses him (as do we all).

My parents were married for 43 years and died within 13 months of each other. My mom's biggest sorrow was wanting to have been married for 50 years. Very few people in my family have divorced, actually, and few have remarried.

My parents just celebrated 45 years of marriage this month, a week later DH & I celebrated our 13th:lovestruc

My parents will celebrate their 60th anniversary this weekend.

My parents have been married for 32 years, and DH and I have been married for 5 years.
