Are not all restaurants available at 180 days out?

My ADR window opens on the 5th. I logged in to see what availability is like for the current 180th day out, and it's showing a lot of restaurants as unavailable. Does the princess lunch @ Norway really sell out that fast? And the restaurants at Mexico (really surprised about that)? Was also checking restaurants at AK and several show as unavailable. Ohana as well. Didn't think so many places booked up this quickly. Just curious. TIA!

Not sure about Mexico, but Akershus and Ohana are definitely harder to get than most (at least in my experience). I always put them at the top of the 'ADRs to get' list.

There have been a lot of problems with the website and app recently. Our window opened this past Sunday morning and we were able to get everything (including Ohana, BoG, and Akershus). We could not see the days in advance of our window, and I am pretty sure that no one can. My wife called and Disney said there is no way to see what has already been taken before you 180+? opens up...

I booked yesterday at 6am and didn't get the times I wanted for BOG PPO breakfast or Garden Grill late breakfast. I was bummed and a bit surprised. Going nov 27-dec 3. Have gone the last 2 years and easily got what I wanted when booking. So just be prepared for a backup and to keep stalking!

My time to book opened Monday (Memorial Day) and I got everything but Akershus for breakfast. It was booked but I did snag a lunch time on 11/30. I will keep watching for an opening at breakfast time.

I booked an early ADR at Aksershus for a trip in late July last week. Had my pick of days at 8:00 AM (for 3). Just 1 example.

We are going the same week and I saw that CRT and BOG had availability before park opening, but not Akershus, for any time of the day. Found that surprising.

Yep...in about a one month period, we see the swing of emotions of "I'm so happy I got free dining" to "I can't get ADR's anywhere I want them and I can't figure out why".

Sometimes they don't load the Candlelight Processional dining packages into the system right away and that affects the ADR's, so I would keep checking on any EP restaurants you want to book for that travel period.

My window opened yesterday and I did not get anything I wanted. I also had a problem--only the first day of our vacation showed. I called to book instead but still no luck. I will keep trying.

I think with the recently announced FEA opening it has caused lots of popularity at Akershus. When people going in July had their 180 day marker back in January there wasn't an opening date for FEA so perhaps Akershus wasn't a priority. Just a guess.

We are a party of 6 and did get an 840am at BOG but I want earlier...unless they will let us in at 8? I need to figure that out. I was only able to snag a party of 4 at Garden Grill, I was shocked at that one. Of course part of the fun is the hunt for me!
