I checked on AP rates for the Disneyland hotels and yesterday I could have sworn the price for the Paradise Pier was less than it is this morning. Did they just change the AP rates for something?

Rates can change daily. When so many rooms are sold at a certain rate, then the rates go up. Best thing is to book the room when you have a good rate.
