I made a Kona Cafe adr @12pm for lunch one day and then another adr for Liberty Tree Tavern @ 4:20pm. Are these meals too close together? I really wanted to go to Kona and LTT and this is how I worked it out. I hope this is not considered a double booking either. The cm didn't say a word about it though. I think LTT starts dinner @ 4:20, right? I don't know if I could move LTT though because this is all they offered me. We are going Thanksgiving week too. Do you think I could change LTT at this point to a later time anyways?:confused3

For me personally, they´re too close. I just couldn´t imagine eating that much within that time frame. I certainly hope you were planning on going immediately from the Polynesian to the MK for LTT, just in order to make it in time.

well, you have plenty of time to get there, but I could not imagine sitting down to 2 meals that close together. You get so much food, that if you eat a full lunch, you'll probably be ok until at least 6 or 7 that day. In our trip, we'd eat an early lunch around 11, and then wouldn't even think about food until at least 5 or 6.

They won't be considered double booking, but I think they are too close together. Isn't there any way you could make your dinner later?

I don't think you will enjoy LTT if you keep the times that you have. I find it difficult to have two sit down meals in one day--I sure can't imagine eating two sit down meals within 4 1/2 hours of each other. If you're committed to Kona on the same day as LTT, why don't you do an early breakfast?:hippie:

I think they are a little too close together. You may be more able to move Kona. Maybe try to get Kona at 11ish for an early lunch? Then go to LTT on time (not early).
If you can't move either one, it's probably still doable but you might not all that hungry for LTT.

Yeah, I think you all are right. In a normal day, I usually have lunch around 11ish and dinner around 6. However, I am usually hungry around 4 or 5. I may just have to drop Kona for lunch. I have a Kona dinner adr now for our first day so that might work. I was just a little nervous about having an adr on our arrival day because I am not sure right now when we will be arriving, So if it is later, we will miss our Kona adr. Oh well, I love Kona but if we miss it, we miss it. I would rather miss it than not enjoy it because we had another adr so close. I am also going to call and try to change LTT to a later adr anyways. Thanks everyone!

Why am I suddenly reminded of a trip last year when I ate at the Brown Derby between 1 and 2pm, and because of commitments to meet with friends I then ate dinner at Prime Time at about 4:30, and hot-footed over to AKL for another dinner at Boma at 8pm.

Like all those meals weren't enough, the chef at Boma even brought some unbelievable chocolate desserts to our table.

Can we say "roll me out the door on the floor" by the time I was done!

If you are on the Dining Plan, too close to get good value, but if you are paying OOP, just order less at Kona or share.

If you had a teen boy chow down machine in the group it definitely wouldn't be too close either! :lmao: Since you have DDs you may never get that joy.

Now that you've gotten Kona for dinner, sounds like you may have resolved the issue.
