This package costs $209 per adult per day and $144 per child per day more than a standard Magic Your Way Package and must be purchased for your entire reservation.

Yes, this is apparently the part you missed. You always have to pay for at least a standard Magic Your Way package, the price of which varies depending which hotel and room type you choose. If you want the Platinum Package, you ADD the $209 per adult per day/ $144 per child per day ON TOP of the regular Magic Your Way package.

I've just changed the wording on my site slightly to stress this.

I agree with the suggestions to go with the 2 bedroom at SSR. You will have a lot more room than in a cabin at FW. We really enjoyed the pools at SSR also. Also, the transportation at FW is a real pain (IMHO!). You have to take an internal bus first. The internal bus gets you to the buses to the parks, or the boat, or the parking lot. Taking the buses from SSR will easily get you to any of the parks, and the wait is usually not too bad. The only problem we have with the buses is going between resorts for dinner. That's why we rent a car.
