Despite my determination to stay home and just relax, I managed to keep myself quite busy over the weekend. We pulled a bunch of clothes out of DD's closet to see what she still needs for vacation. She was lacking in the shorts department so off to the mall we went on Sunday. She did surprisingly well for a teen that hates shopping (I guess her father's anti-shopping gene was stronger than my shopping gene )

Yesterday was cleaning all morning followed by a nice family afternoon (with my parents).

I have always wondered why long weekends go by even faster and short work weeks go by even slower....
