Are Moo Moo's And Boo Boo's Doomed?...Part 5

Sorry to hear about the pain, prayers for it just going away!

glad you got your ice cream...

Good Morning everyone!! Happy Monday.

Not much new to report here. We did a quick run to Disneyland on Friday night to see fireworks and ride a few rides. They were doing Christmas in July for Limited Time Magic so I got to enjoy my favorite Peppermint Ice Cream that I usually only get during the holidays :thumbsup2

Today I am back to see the Pain Specialist (doctor) again. Since my arm has still been hurting, the surgeon wants me to try the injections to see if we can get rid of it completely. This darn back/neck/arm/shoulder thing just won't go away :sad2:

Sending tons of hugs and positive thoughts your way. I hope it gets resolved. :( nothing worse than constant pain. I'm so sorry

Thanks!! Luckily today is just a consultation since I haven't seen this doctor since January when he did the nerve study. But shoot, I'm ready to just tell the surgeon to operate on the darn thing and get it over with. It is going on 2 years now. We have managed to get the pain down to almost nothing for a while, but so far nothing has cleared it up permanently. It just keeps coming back :(

It is kind of like the Boo Boo tag...it just won't go away ;)

But otherwise things are good!

I can tell you I dealt with my foot pain for almost two years and after the surgery I wished I had done it sooner. I felt so much better afterwards.

Today blows

That is all.

 I hope tomorrow is better!!

Well, that was quick. I saw the doctor at 1:30 and I'm scheduled for my neck injection tomorrow morning. And I have to go to a surgery center since they have to sedate me. Woo Hoo...more money and more shots :scared:

Well it's not Monday anymore.

I have not had any nasty surprises today - mainly due to the fact that my boss called me last night with a heads up so I would be mentally prepared today. But after the suck-town that was yesterday I didn't really care anymore - lol.

Anyways - I finished up my bathroom projects over the weekend and have since started a new indoor project - Converting our closet bifold doors into mini french doors. Just one set - in the master bedroom - because the doorway is already narrow and having the bifolds makes it even worse. Poor Matt has to turn sideways to get through :lmao:

So far I have removed the doors, tracks, and all hardware, applied wood filler to all holes, and started sanding. All that will be left is painting, hanging, and applying new knobs. Seems pretty easy so far!

You're turning into quite the handywoman!:thumbsup2

Morning everyone... Hope the day is going better for everyone. The weather here in the DC/Maryland area has been beautiful the last two days...

Low humidity and 60 degrees when I wake up... So nice!@

Hi All...
Well, I'm back. I was going to check in yesterday after my procedure but I ended up feeling horrible the rest of the day. Luckily today is much better :thumbsup2 Now to just keep my fingers crossed that this works. They said it would be three days before the cortisone takes affect, but after that I "should" see a difference. But they also said everyone reacts differently so there is no telling if this will help me long term. So fingers remain crossed.

LOL - the hardest part of the whole thing was getting the IV started. The pre-op nurse couldn't get a vein so the anesthesiologist had to do it. Then I kept waiting to be sedated, not realizing that I already was :rotfl2: Or at least I must have been because I barely noticed the needle going into my neck.

I thought I was doing great afterwards until I started not feeling well in the recovery room and that lasted most of yesterday. So it was hanging out on the couch for me the rest of the day ::yes::

Keeping my finger crossed for you jetskigrl that this will give you some relief. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everyone!!!

I'm going to be hopeful that this works, LOL. Maybe I can get rid of the Boo Boo in my neck and the Boo Boo in my profile at the same time :goodvibes :rotfl2:

How is everyone today?
