Are MK bus stops moving?

Does anyone have any information about why they would be moving the Magic Kingdom bus stops? I was just at WDW over the weekend and visited the Contemporary. From the Contemporary you get a very good view of construction going on just across the street. There are two rows of canopies under construction that look identical to the existing bus stops and are located just alongside the existing bus stops.

I was hoping someone might know what Disney is planning to do at the current bus stop site.

Expanding, not moving.

The main purpose is to accommodate new longer flex buses that can't fit in the present loops.

They are adding bus stops so you can take buses directly from MK to the other parks. You currently can't do that unless you went to the TTC. Also they are making them so they can fit the new articulated buses they plan to use.

Thanks very much for the replies. There was so much construction going on that I was expecting to see, but that was not one of that I had expected. It just had me a little stumped.

I know! Boy, the TTC hasn't really panned out to much more than a parking lot waystation now. But the Lynx buses and offsite buses will still come to the TTC.
