Are mickey beignets and "fritters" the same food item?

Okay Molly, I found pics of the mickey shaped, and YUmMmMmY! Thanks alot, now I put em' on my to do list. LOL I wasnt a Dis member the last time I went to DL, which means it's been almost a year since my annual passes have expired. And being on the Dis I have learned about so many new things that I didnt even Know Disneyland had. I cant wait!
