Are menus different for Guests dining on the Disney Dining plan?

Are you given different menus if you are dining using the Disney Dining plan? Or are there certain items on the normal menu (such as Steak & Lobster) that are not included in the plan? If not included, do you pay a supplement for these items or do you have the pay the amount shown on the menu?

No. You order from the regular menu. There are very few exclusions and supplements - so few that it's difficult to remember them. The Kitchen Sink sundae at Beaches & Cream is excluded entirely, and Marrakesh has surcharges for the multi-course "feasts." Yes, the surf and turf at Narcoosses is included (remember Narcoosees is a 2-credit restaurant).

Nala is correct (of course) you can order anything!! It is very nice. I am a steak lover and always get the most expensive. I really take advantage of getting my monies worth.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like a good option to take especially if you get the free dining option.

It totally depends on the size of your party and how and where you choose to eat, especially with prices on the regular and deluxe DDP rising about $6 per night for adults in 2012. Always do the math unless you're selected DDP for sheer convenience. As for free dining, you have to do the math too; it may not be such a good deal for small parties at deluxe resorts who have access to a room discount, or for guests who already have park tickets.
