Are menus available in resort rooms?

Many times hotels will have a 3-ring binder of sorts with local restaurant menus. Any chance of something like this in our room? We're staying at POP, and won't have internet access, and don't really want to print so many menus ahead of time.

Thanks!

Sorry, no menus in the rooms. It would be one thick binder, there are dozens upon dozens of restaurants at WDW.

Not sure why you'd need to print menus? All of the TS places have their menus posted outside.

I remember way back in '01...I was the main planner for a trip that included my family of three as well as another family of three. I did actually print out menus from a bunch of different restaurants...that way the other family could check them out..they were not good about going online and doing it. It's funny but I still have the binder those menus are in. I used allearsnet.com to get them.

The YC had a binder with the restaurants of the YC and BC, not full menus but a brief overview .... same thing that you get on the BW/BC/YC brochure of shopping, dining and clubs.

The binder did have rooms service and special orders in it

Are you asking for menus of Disney Restaurants or places offsite? The phone books in the rooms have great full menu listings for resturants in the yellow pages and the higher level Disney resturants have listings. Check it out in the room.

Otherwise there aren't any menus in the room like regular hotels.

There is another website that has menu downloads to a PDA or even an IPod now. I tried it last night.

I printed off menus for all the restuarants (even counter service) we are even thinking about going to while at WDW. (I actually cut and pasted the information into a Word document so I could adjust the style and size.) As crazy as it sounds, with a child and a slow ordering husband it will make ordering easier and quicker. This is the first time I did this, so I'll report back how helpful it really was.

 LOL, I thought I was the only one with a slow ordering husband! Maybe that's what I'll end up doing. I do have a Palm and an Ipod, but I might just prefer old-fashioned paper, and leave it in our room. I'm mainly needing to know price ranges and whether it's too exotic or not for our tastes.

Thanks for everyone's input!

Depending on when you are going, you will need ADR's at most TS locations. Without, you may be waiting hours or be turned away

I did it for our October trip and again in March. I have all of the TS, CS and Snack Vendors listed on allearsnet and wdwinfo in a Word Document. It works great.

Actually, I just remembered I shared almost all of them here...time to go digging through some threads so I can link for you (that way you can just copy and paste by park.)

Doesn't someone (maybe Kevin Yee?) publish a book with menus from all the WDW restaurants?

A few years ago (goodness...may have been 10!) the Guest Services desk at the WL had a binder with menus in it. It may have been done away with (even the desk is no longer located where it was at that time).
