Are IASW & HM open again at the end of JAN?

Hi!

Planning a trip in Jan after MLK holiday and was wondering if IASM & HM will be open at that time? I know I'm risking rides being closed during the off season but as some of you know that traveling with a 4yo and a 1yo you just can't expect them to handle the crowds/long lines.

IASW has been rumoured by CM's to be closing after Xmas and staying closed until October for a long refurb. I have heard it from numerous sources so I'd be inclined to believe it.

I don't think the official reopening date of HM has been released, but it usually takes about 2 weeks to remove holiday, and it does not go down until at least a few days after the 1st. Peak crowds may stick around until the 6th this year because of how the holidays fall, so it may not go down until the 7th or 8th and then back up a couple of weeks after that.

WOW! Until October??? If the rumor is true then I'll be sad to miss it but I will see it again someday.

The last I saw about IASW is that it will be closing down mid-January for 9 months for a total refurb. This was about as confirmed as a refurb schedule can be.

I don't know about HM. I'd be happy if they left the holiday overlay year round.
