Are groups given MBs? if so when do they receive them?

DH and I were at WDW in Dec and got to use the MBs and loved them. We are taking a family trip in July and are looking forward to it again.

My question is are groups being given MBs? DS band is going to march at Disney April 2015. If the group stays on site do they get the MBs? if so when do they get them? Does the tour group send them ahead of time so you can set up FP+ or do they not get them until they arrive and then set up FP+.

I know we have time but I haven't seen anything on here that has said how they work with tour groups.
