Are flights cheaper on 12/25 or 12/26?

I was wondering if you can get cheaper flights by flying on Christmas day or if it is comparable with 12/26? We will be flying either SW or JetBlue from NY.

I was monitoring SW prices from Orlando to Buffalo on both the 25th and 26th of December 2013. Direct flights hovered around $115 per person on both dates. Prices did begin to climb for the 25th in Sept./Oct. but they stayed at $115 until about a month before for the flight on the 26th. Then prices began to climb a bit.

Who knows what prices will be for 2014? Many, many months from now, when these airlines release their schedules, just search for prices for both dates. They will likely be the same.

We just flew home to Providence from MCO on 12/25. In previous years we have flown home on 12/26, 27, or 28. Our flights on JB were $80 pp. I have never paid that little for flights the 26-28. Our flight was only about 1/2 full too. We booked our flights the day JB released them. Who knows if they'll be that cheap again this year but definitely worth checking.
