Awhile ago, they were telling us the oven was broken- then there were rumors that the new chef didn't want flatbreads. Anyone been lately and can weigh in?
Yes, have been for quite a while now. The oven needed to be repaired and it took a long time to get it done - it wasn't that the chef wasn't into flatbreads.
When we were at WDW Dec 12th-20th we ate at California Grill one night. My husband fell in love with his flatbread. They had one that night that had duck on it. I'm not sure what else it had. I was too busy enjoying my sushi. I remember though he was having trouble deciding between the one with duck and a Reuben one.
Their flatbreads are great!! And they can easily change them from time to time. Over the years I've had traditional cheese and tomato, BBQ topped, BLT, chicken, and even a reuben flatbread with corned beef!!
The flatbreads are one of the highlights of eating at CG. They use many different groups of ingrediants on the flatbreads. We ate there again last month and everything was excellent as always.
