We will be there the first week of November , and I was wondering about crowd levels. I know it's not a crowded time, but will there still be long waits on some attractions, will i need to run in the park and get fast passes.
Just trying to figure out a park plan. thanks

My DH and I were there last year, Nov 4-7 and in some cases the parks were crowded. More so than we actually thought, though we usually go in September.

There was a 45 minute wait for Splash Mountain a couple days, 1/2 hour for BTMR. 1/2 hour for Soarin' 45 minutes for Test Track. But some were still walk-ons or 10 minute waits.

We did go to the MK one night, I think Sat. night and it was VERY crowded. Then one night we did EMH at MGM, RnR was a long wait , an hour but TOT was short. Go figure! I think we rode TOT about 20 times that night. :teeth:

The only Fast Pass we really needed last year was for Soarin'. The other max waits we encountered were under 20 minutes.

Isn't the first full week of November, "Jersey Week" ??

From an old post..

avoid the first week (called 'jersey week' by those in the know. due to a teacher's conference most of jersey is off that week and the parks are more crowded), we went november 14-19 last year and it was fantastic, low crowds, great weather

OH Thanks alot, I had no idea about jersey week, maybe we'll switch to the second week, we are not going until 07, so we have plenty of time to plan.

But what about veteran's Day which falls on the second weekend , is that weekend crowded, what about the mon, tues, and wed. after that

And is it still warm the second week

They have also extended Food & Wine Festival into the first two weeks of November. So that also accounts for larger crowds. It also makes it more difficult to get into the Epcot restaurants. Many last year at the same time were not even taking walk ups.

I don't know if they question should be if you need them or not. I don't think anyone needs them. The fact is they are just a nice thing to have and are convienent. When I went in January, we used them all the time. We even got them if the line was short. Gives us a chance to return later and not wait if there is a line.
