Do they historically even have them the first week of December?

Which rides are running and do you think it's worth the extra money?

DEFINITELY worth the money......however....

With Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party taking place in December, there have been no e-ride nights.

But, MVMCP is also worth the money.

I think it depends if E-Rides are worth the money. I am not sure if its worth the money during cool and slow times like early december.

I deffintly think they are worth the money during hot and busy days during the summer and other times of the year when it's busy and hot.

E-Ride seemed to be offered quite regularly during summer months...it sounds as though they will taper off or maybe even disappear again come cooler weather. We did two E-Ride nights in July and it was ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY worth every penny! It was amazing!!! We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

E-Ride Night is always a good thing to spend your $$$ on regradless the month it gives you extra time at the parks.. When I was young the hours used to be until 1 A.M. but in the last couple years WDW has been closing earlier definately worth the money IMHO on another note is there any explanation to why Disney hasnt scheduled in Any E-ride Nights in Mid and Late August.

Hi DIS friends,

We may need to postpone our first WDW trip to January due to DH's work commitments.

Why isn't there e=rides in January?

My guess is it is a slow time for WDW and they dont offer it because it isnt crowded

We thought e-ride night was the absolute best thing we spent our money on...especially after we overheard a woman talking about face painting being ONLY $12! Unlimited thunder mountain rides or a butterfly on your cheek?...hmmmm...tough choice. ;)

We loved e-rides nights. We always had a blast. DS thought it was so cool to be up that late. Wish they had them when we are going. :(

I thought it was worth it once...but if you're able to do everything you want during the slow season, then no, go back to the resort and rest for the next day!!

We bought e-ride tickets in May 2003. However we didn't really need to do this as the parks were dead and we were able to ride most everything with no wait anyway.

I could see this being a great advantage during the hot busy summer though!

Not worth it according to us. We went to E-Night last August (24th?). It poured the whole time we were there (poncho time). Lines on SM were 20 -30 minutes the whole night. Lines at Buzz were longer than during the day, did SpM once and never got on BTMRR. Maybe this was a fluke night but definitely was not worth it.

We went to e-ride night in March '02 and it was packed! We barely got to ride everything once before it was over. I was willing to give it one more shot in March of this year, but none were schedule. Fortunately MK was open till 11:00 and it was better than our e-ride night had been!

My family did this for the first time in June. DD6 and DS4 LOVED it! They made it the whole night and thought it was so cool that we had a special bracelet. Kinda added some magic knowing it's not open for everyone. Not to mention the characters were out the whole time with only a few people in line at a time, so we got to spend lots of time with Mickey! :earsboy: It's definately worth it in the hot months, we were at MK one day and ended up leaving earlier than planned because it was so hot and crowded! Probably wouldn't have done that if we didn't have e-ride tickets.

I don't know if they offer e ride nights in December but they are definitly worth the money. I just got back from WDW today and actually did two of the e ride nights offered during our stay. During the three hours on each night I probably rode each of the mountains 4 times plus haunted mansion (2 times), philharmagic, peter pan, winnie the pooh and buzz lightyear (2 times). That was with a couple short breaks. There were no lines on any rides, we just walked right on! I don't think this would be worth it during very slow seasons but when its busy it is well worth the $12.

We just got back last week from 8 nights at WDW. It was DW and DS (2). I'll tell you why it was so worth it for us to do E-Ride night. Dw and I wanted to do the mountains, but didn't want to baby switch too much. We enjoy doing the rides together. So we got a sitter for the night of our first full day down and went to e-ride night while DS stayed at the hotel with the sitter. So we actually paid quite a bit of money for E-ride night. But in three hours were were able to enjoy the fireworks and all of the big rides together, not to mention previewing buzz and philharmagic for DS. It was so worth it for those reasons.

We loved eride night last week, but we didn't get nearly the amount of rides done as other posters. We waited the longest for Splash - about 10 minute, and walked on the other attractions. What we didn't anticipate is how long it would take us to get around the park with a 4 year old. This was our first trip to WDW with kids, and even with a stroller it just takes a little bit longer for everything. The most unexpected magic came from the CMs, they were all so much fun. They just seemed to be enjoying their jobs a little more, laughing more, and more playful. From character meets, to attractions cms, that made the biggest difference to us. The drawback of course is that it trashes the next morning when you keep your kids up until 2:30 AM!!:earseek:
