Are Disneyland.com tickets cheaper than at the ticketbooth?

Hello, looking into buying the cheapest tickets for adult two family members - we will be driving and not flying, we already have hotel arrangements so no sort of hotel/ticket deal will work for us.

I've never ordered tickets from Disneyland.com before, I'm curious about their pricing. I know it says "Save up to $X amount when you purchase online" and it lists an amount above the online price that's been crossed out, so is the crossed out amount the regular Ticketbooth price, is that what one would pay if they buy their tickets at the park? Any savings helps, this seems to be the cheapest non-so cal offer available, if anyone knows of anything else please spill the beans.

Also a little bummed that they have two differently priced Summer Fun Passes this year. I can't use them anyway because I'm Nor Cal, what bugs me is that Disneyland gets more and more expensive every year .

Thanks for any info!

YEs they are cheaper. The crossed out price are the ticket booth prices. Use the e-ticket option. They will email the tickets and you take the paper e ticket to the turnstile where the will scan it and give you an actual pass for FP machines. Super easy and no need to head to the ticket booths.

As PP said with the e tickets there is no need to go to the ticket booths. This alone is a great time saver.

Great, thanks for the information. $20 savings is not too shabby, considering it's Disney who's offering it :goodvibes. I think this will be the best way to go and save, thanks!

Don't know if you've seen the thread on Last Minute Travel, but they are even cheaper if they have the tickets you are looking for. Used them with no problems.

If you have AAA their prices are the same as the Disneyland site but you get free parking, priority seating to Aladin, Toon Town Morning Madness, pins & luggage tags.
Last Minute Travel did have an amazing deal but their prices went up last week. It's still a bit less than AAA though but without the perks.

Like a pp said lastminutetravel.com has insanely cheap prices on their tickets right now. It is such a big discount I didn't believe it was legit at first but many people on this board have used them without any problems. I will be using them the next time I go to DL.

In case you guys missed it, Last Minute Travel park hopper pricing took a big leap up last week. At the moment, it's not much of a savings at all. There are a lot of us that missed the boat and are pretty sad.

It is still a big discount. After disney added the taxes to the tickets they were over $100 more than lastminutetravel (for my 5 day PH, 2A 3C). It is just not as good as it was before.

Another vote for lastminutetravel.com! I used them in April had had no problems! Saved me a ton!! :cool1:

Is that for disneyworld? CA tickets don't have sales tax on them (yet), so there shouldn't have been tax added when going through disneyland.com.

Hi, thanks for everyone's information :). No, I had never heard of lastminutetravel.com but I will look into it. 3 of us including myself have Annual Passes, but we have two non-pass holders traveling with us. They are both first time Disneyland guests, I would like everything to be worth the trip for them including their admission price so any savings helps!

I'll look into it, thanks!

Hi, a quick questions about purchasing tickets from LastMinuteTravel.com. Are the tickets e-tickets or hard tickets?

My parents are registered with WildAtWork.com, usually their discounts aren't the greatest, but I just checked and they're a little lower than the current LastMinuteTravel 3-day Hopper price. A 3-Day hopper at WildAtWork is currently $175.00 for adults. I think you need some sort of business license to register, but it's not a bad thing to be on because they offer discounts to lots of different places.

It was at disneyland.com and they said the price was $955 tax included. Where as lastminutetravel had them for around $850. Before the prices went up they would have been around $740, which was a huge discount. The $850 is not as nice but it is still better than $955

They send you a voucher that you exchange at the hotel or the ticket booths for the actual tickets - so if you need them quickly, yes you can get them that way.

I went to our local AAA office and called an Anaheim office and both places said tha AAA no longer sells Disneyland tickets. I was interested in getting the AAA perks. Does anyone know if this is true. AAA does sell WDW tickets.

I checked Monday on-line and you could still buy the tickets then. You have to make your way through a couple of screens to get there though.

On the first page scroll to the bottom and click the Disneyland square in the bottom left.
Then you be at a page that lists the perks.
In the upper right corner is a box where you can buy tickets.
At this point you need to enter your e-mail address and a password. If don't have a password you need to register with them.
Then it takes you to Disney Vacation Planning but through the AAA portal.
The left button says Theme Park Tickets. The right button says AAA Special Offers.
Click AAA Promo and that will take to the 5 for 3 day Hopper special.
Good luck!
