Are crowds low on Halloween day, and next few days?

Hi Disers!
I would love to visit DL during the Halloweentime celebrations, so I have been lurking on here and Mousewait to see what the best time would be to visit next year.

It looked like October 31 had very low crowds, according to Mousewait. I thought it would be fun to be at DL for Halloween and do the Halloween Party that night.
Also, the filming for the Christmas Parade is this Saturday, so if they have the same type of schedule next year, I could enjoy Halloween and Christmas festivities all in one trip!

Is there anyone who was at the parks in the last few days who could let me know what the crowd levels were like? Usually we go in late November/early December to enjoy the Christmas decor but avoid the crowds of late December.

Thanks!

It sounded like a good number of the Halloween parties sold out this year and I can't imagine that the day of Halloween wouldn't be an exception. It definitely sells out in FL.

we have been here since oct 31st
the halloween party was sold out so we went to DCA - it was empty. we rode RSR three times in a row with the second and third time having less than a 15 minute wait.
we were disney the next day and waits were minimal to zero
today back at DCA - crowds were still low. only ride with any real wait was RSR. in the morning it got up to 45 minutes very quickly. at around 4:00 it was 80 minutes. but you could walk on to almost anything else.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear!

I know the parties were all sold out, but I was asking more about the regular daytime park crowd levels. This sounds perfect! I will have to be sure to buy tickets to MHP as soon as possible though. I know there were many disappointed people this year who missed out.

Halloween was the busiest day this whole week, until this evening. We got here Monday and are leaving tomorrow. Halloween day was decently crowded, not close to what last weekend was I am sure!
Thursday was much calmer, and today was busy in the evening (Friday nights tend to be).
Next year Halloween is on a Thursday, so I am thinking the few days after will actually be a little busier since it is the weekend.
We go every Halloween week. :)
