Are Crowds higher than typical right now?

I was looking at Touring Plans and it seems the last week or so has been higher than they predicted. Prior to the holiday season the crowds have been less than predicted.

I wonder if it's due to both Christmas and New Year falling in the middle of the week. I was a bit surprised to see yesterday's crowd report.

Here's what touring plans showed, while the overall was pretty similar, it was interesting that the parks were all basically a 7 evenly distributed.

I pay no attention to touring plans.

Its common sense to know when the parks will be more or less crowded.

Many people were off until yesterday so it was gonna be crowded.

This week is Marathon is tomorrow through Sunday.
You can expect it to be busy this week and next week and then often people will take an extra long weekend for MLK day so the next of next week and the following week will be busy.

I like Touring Plans and during our probably 15 or so trips it's always been a nice way to get an idea on the parks.

Appreciate your input.

We went mid-December and the crowds appeared similar to the previous years. It was more difficult to get LL rides and I wasn't sure if it was due to a higher attendance, or just more people buying LLMP. I usually say only good things about Disney (because that's how I truly feel), but I must mention that LLMP really sucked when compared to Genie+. 😢

I did not like LLMP at first but after a couple of trips it's not as bad.

I do overall prefer genie + for sure.
