I will be staying at the CBR this week, and would like to check email. Does the CBR (or any hotel) have computers that are available to use for a fee? Thanks Gail 12 hour dance:banana:

:cool1: If you bring your own laptop you could hook it up in the rooms, there is high speed internet available for 9.95 for 24 hours.

I do wish they had an Internet cafe somewhere on WDW property where you could use a computer for however long you need to and they would charge a low price per minute.

yes, in Old Port Royal there are computers for guest usage.

When did you last see one? Years ago Disney had internet kiosks in the resorts and parks where the telephone banks were. A couple of years ago they removed them. Around 2005 I believe. They were too hard to maintain and the keyboards were often broken.

OP, whatever you do don't go to Disney Quest to use their terminals. They are SLOW and the keyboars are awful.

Most convention hotels have business centers with computers for internet use. But, they are pretty expensive and not convenient.

If you can, bring a laptop.

1) There are no FREE computers at WDW to check email.
2) All the business centers have public computers, at a high price.

NOTE: It might have been installed lately, but I am not aware of a public computer (even for a price) available at CBR. If all you wanted was boarding passes, then any Front Desk or Concierge Desk at any resort can do this for free.

Why doesn't the entire Disney complex have free wireless internet? Most nice hotels do have that these days. Last time I went to Disney was in 2002 and I had to sign up for AOL  so I could work from my room. Wireless internet would be so much nicer.

Since CSR has business conventions, you would think they would have wireless internet. No?

Many of the nicer hotels have wireless but they charge you for it. CSR does have wireless internet in some areas but they charge for it. It seems fair that those who use it pay for it.

Until recently, I used the Swan and Dolphin business center when on property for work purposes (very expensive).

The best price I've found is at the Downtown Disney Hilton, which is a walk across the street from Downtown Disney. I last used the center a couple of months ago. Otherwise, if I'm staying on property, I use my laptop and go on dialup.

They used to have internet terminals in at least a couple of the resorts for .25 a minute. Not sure why they stopped doing that.

Can you do this at any of the resorts. We would like to do online check in 24 hours prior to our flight while at Poly and are willing to bring our laptop if we have to.

I believe I read somewhere that there are FREE ( :cool1: ) public WiFi connections in WL. I believe it is in the lobby. Please correct me if I am wrong.

No free connections at WDW. There is a charge for wi fi in the common areas of many resorts.

Guest Services at your resort can do it for you. No charge, except I'm sure a tip would be in order. People do this all the time. If your only reason to bring a laptop was checking in for your return flight, leave the laptop at home.:dance3:
