Looking to go in early December and was just wondering if EP, AK and MGM have Christmas decorations too.

Also, I hear some people saying they'll go to MVMCP 2 or 3 times while there. At $37/adt and $27/chd, I guess I'm thinking I'm fine with one night. This will be our first MVMCP and I want to make sure I'm not missing out on anything by only going once. It's the same every night, isn't it?

I don't know about AK (because we never went during the Christmas season), but Epcot definitely has decor as well, and the Studios have the Osbourne Lights (usually every year).

As for MVMCP...yes, it's the same every night, although the number of people at the event might make it seem different (it's the same with the Halloween event). :flower: Although maybe they do something a bit different ON the night of? I'm not sure about that.

Yes, all of the parks & resorts have holiday decorations up in December (I think the end of November through New Years). We only plan on going to MVMCP once. I think that's enough.

All the parks have christmas decorations and the resorts are decorated also. It is a beautiful time to go. MGM has the Osborne christmas lights and Epcot has different christmas performances going on. I have never gone to MVMCP so I can't answer that question. Have a magical mickey ::MickeyMo christmas vacation.

Be prepared... Holiday decorations are ALL around the WDWorld... :cheer2:

Epcot has a spectacular candlelight procession and walkway of lights... DTD has great decorated trees, even EVERY hotel gets into spirit... our favorites were at Animal Kingdom lodge and Wilderness Lodge hotels... Boardwalk had a huge diorama of a boardwalk all made out of candy... MGM used to have the Osborne lights...
I'm sure others will elaborate on all the holiday showcases Disney pulls out...

Number of times to do the party? depends on your own choice... we felt once was enough since we already paid for length of stay passes...

Animal kingdom has decorated trees in Camp Minnie-Mickey. Each tree is decorated for a different character. They're really cute.

Hmmmm.... And I haven't even thought of which resort to stay at. I was considering WL because they have 1br villas and it has easy access to MK. It's my goal to stay at every Disney resort, so Cont and SSR are out.

Don't miss the Christmas tree at the front of Animal Kingdom. We LOVED it!! It is decorated with animal masks and African designs. We thought it was the best in the World, because it was so different. If I knew how to post pictures, I would show you some of the trees, but sorry. I'm computer illiterate!

Just as everyone else has said - yep, all of WDW is thoroughly decorated for Christmas.

As for the party - we only go once. The shows run pretty close together timewise, some of them simultaneously - so theoretically, I guess you would have to go more than one night to see absolutely everything, AND ride the rides. But we don't mind missing a show or two. My kids mostly want to see the parade.

The most beautiful Christmas tree lighting ceremony I ever saw was the one in Epcot.

No matter what resort you choose, be sure to check out other hotels. There are some awsome Christmas decorations. I love the GF's decorations. This December we will be staying at VWL, the tree in the WL lobby is so beautiful. I can't wait until December!!!! We will be doing two MVMCPs, because we have family joining us later in our trip and my husband will only be there for the first part of our trip (everyone wants to do the party). I hope they start telling tickets on May 1st.

AK and MGM also have holiday versions of their parades that run every day.
