Are BWV Dues used to maintain the "BoardwalK"

For all you dues experts out there and specifically BWV dues experts. Does part of the BWV dues go to maintenance of the acutal Boardwalk area? Down along the lake where the games and booths are. Or do the dues stop at the actual resort itself?

I doubt it - for two reasons.

1). If DVC owners' dues were maintaining even a share of the Boardwalk, it seems to me the dues would be higher than they are now, unless the same share of the revenue generated by the restaurants, stores and carts was used to offset the maintenance cost. Can't imagine Disney is sharing any "revenue" from the Boardwalk entities with DVC owners!

2). The Boardwalk is a very public area - Disney promotes it as an entertainment destination. It doesn't make sense to me that DVC owners pay to maintain anything other than the hotel and the associated operating expenses.

If we are paying for the maintenance of the Boardwalk, then I want some of the profit it generates!
