In the past, the souvenir butterbeer mugs were refillable for less than a dollar at most park restaurants. But I just keep reading about the Coke ones. Do the butterbeer mugs still work for this? Thanks!
Have they changed the mug since 2010? I have three from our first visit when they opened HP and now wonder if we should drag them off the shelf to save a few bucks.

It doesn't matter if they've changed the mugs or not. Universal will refill any non alcoholic souvenir mugs for the refill price. I still use my classic red souvenir mug I purchased in 2008. It can be red mug, Butter Beer mugs, Character mugs etc. Note, the couple of exceptions I know of are Hogs Head Brew mugs, which can't be refilled; and Coke Freestyle Cups which have bounced back and forth between being able to be used for discount refills and only being able to be used for additional days of Coke Freestyle.
I've also read, at one time, Seaworld/Busch Gardens mugs were interchangeable with Universal mugs.

Butterbeer prices last I read were $3.99 regular and $4.99 frozen. I also read the regular was $4.25. Do you want to drink it from your mug or from a plastic cup? There is no refill discount. Also, the mugs are smaller than the red souvenir cup but the refill price is the same.
