Are boats running between Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge?

Seems like these two resorts had shared boats in the past so that you could get between the resorts via boat? Is that the case right now?

Apparently they had stopped them for a bit but I have heard that they were running again as of last week.

It's not only the CR and WL but Fort Wilderness as well. IIRC there were two boats and they ran in a triangle. One would run from the CR to FW to WL back to the CR and the other would run from the CR to WL to FW back to the CR.

Hoping they are as we have a res at Chef Mickeys next month and are staying at FW. Luckily we can drive if need be or could always take the boat to MK and walk.

Oh, I hope this is true! We are staying at BLT and want to go over to Geyser Point. That boat is certainly most convenient way. We've also enjoyed boating over to Ft Wilderness in the past.

The CR-WL-FW boat (the “Blue Flag Launch”) has not been running since reopening. I have not seen reports of it running again as PP indicates, but it could certainly have changed. I’ll ask around and report back if I see any reports.

Someone posted either here or on another site that they just started last week. I want to say how they mentioned that because of the social distancing the small boat could only hold a few people.

I'm trying to find it now :)

I found the post and the person who wrote it further clarified what they meant. Apparently a few weekends ago they were using the smaller boats to go between FW and MK as well as the big boats. I wonder if it was Presidents Day weekend? Maybe with larger crowds they knew they needed more options?
