Are back packs allowed on all rides?

Sorry if this has been answered but I searched and couldn't find the answer. We must take a backpack with us because of items I need to carry for my kids. Just realized that in the past we always left them with another family member who came but we don't have anyone else going this trip. Will I be able to take the back pack on all rides? Nervous to leave it out of my sight as it will also contain my new camera!

Yes, absolutely.

And you wouldn't want to leave it anywhere anyway. Even if you have a stroller, there are thieves. And if you just left it wherever, you would come back to find bomb-sniffing dogs, or security, or perhaps just find it gone as they dispose of it, etc.

If by chance you're also going to Universal, there are some rides that don't allow you to bring anything but the tiniest waistpacks, but those rides have free lockers for your stuff.

Thanks! We are just doing Disney but like I said I didn't want it out of my sight since it would have my camera in it. We've been to Disney many times but never has to worry about it because there was always someone to hold our bags while we did rides. Never had to worry or take notice of this before now ;). Excited for just my immediate family to go though :)

I take mine on all the rides except the wet ones:) Coasters like Everest have a pocket to put your stuff, but I just keep mine at my feet and hold onto the strap.
