Are Aulani dinner reservations a must?

Hi all - We are making our first trip to Aulani over Spring Break. If we want to have dinner at the restaurants on property, do we need to make reservations well in advance, similar to when traveling to WDW? Or can we wait until we get there to decide where we want to eat and when (you know, like normal life and just about any non-Disney vacation)? Thanks for your help!

I’d recommend a reservation. You can always cancel if you change your mind once you’re there.
