I've looked through all of the stroller threads I could find and didn't see any reviews of these strollers and wondered if anyone has one or tried one of them?

The first one is a Jeep brand stroller:

The second is a Combi:

and the third is a Cosco:

I was also wondering if they all fold up like a "traditional" umbrella stroller (kind of tall and round). I'm not sure if that matters, but they do seem to be easy to put over your arm to carry that way.

Thanks for any opinions!
Becky

I've been reading up on a lot of strollers lately and the Combi's get a really good review. Of the three you listed that's probably the best one, especially since it has double wheels on the back, whereas a lot of the cheaper models only have single wheels.

HTH!

I would go with the Combi!...The Jeep Brand would be the worst!

I haven't owned any of these exact three, but based on my experience with these brands, I'd go with the Combi. Cosco's never have good reviews, so I'd rule that one out fast. I owned a Jeep stroller and I hated it. It wasn't the same model, so this may be different, but on mine, the wheels would never stop squeaking- no matter how much WD40 DH put on them. It also had really short handles and I had to bend over to far to push it.

That said, I now own 3 Combi's and love them all. I've test driven the Travel Savvy, but I thought the 38" handles were too low (I'm 5'11"). If this isn't an issue for you, its probably a good choice. I have 2 Combi Savvy DX's that I love. They cost a little more than the Travel Savvy, but you get higher handles, child cup holders and a 5-point harness. Here's a link:

The Combi's fold flat and then in thirds, so its size is similar to an umbrella stroller, but its different. If you go to Combi's web site: http://www.combi-intl.com/combi/2125.htm there is a link that shows you how it folds.

Good Luck
Leslie

We love our combi (different model from what you're looking at) and it has been abused a lot and still looks like new! I hate Cosco strollers and have no experience with the Jeep brand.

The combi is really lightweight. But they also tend to be short and least convenient for storage (you can sling your backpack over it).

The jeep one looks ok but the basket underneath looks inaccessable, so youd have to sling your backpack and packages on the handles.

The last one doesnt recline and I dont see any cup holders.

In my opinion, for that price range, I'd go over to babiesrus.com and get either the "trendsport lite" which reclines, has cup holders and a big basket or the "caddy" which semi reclines and comes with a sholder strap and raincover.

i own 2 jeep strollers and love them both. I have 1 umbrella and one regular and just can't imagine owning another. They fold up just like any other stroller.

I just bought that Jeep stroller (from that website too-great price and great shipping!) Anyway, I haven't used mine yet. But I bought it because a friend of mine has it and LOVES hers. I pushed it around one day and really liked the way it felt. I am tall (5'8") and the handles are at the perfect height for me. I love how padded the seat is too. It folds up just like an umbrella stroller should. I hope it works well for us, we plan to use it in WDW next year.

Good luck! :)
