I read a number of threads and posts on PINS for upgrades from Value to Moderates during free dining. I just got my second PIN ever but it was for the free dining again. But an upgrade??? Anyone??:upsidedow

I too got my second pin offer but the same one as before -- FD in nov, dec. No upgrade mentioned.

Steph

I also got another Free Dining Pin yesterday, but nothing else. It sound like the other Pin people were getting on Thursday was for those booked in Values to upgrade to DVC. They are trying to free up more space at the values. Was there another one for upgrade to the mods?

I also think that only those people who have actually booked a value were being sent the PIN to upgrade. I did get both free dining pin's as well... but prefer a room discount as we are not big eaters and prefer the QS meal plan.

It sounds like their upgrades were all to SS or OKW. Oh I would love to see that pin!

I was waiting and hoping all day to get that PIN, but no luck here at all! I will keep my fingers crossed that they will try again, and I will get one.

We got the second Pin too.. sadly cant use it. DH doesnt have anymore vacation time till 2010. :(

I am booked at a value for FD and did not get the PIN. I would jump all over that one.

We are at ASMu and it is still available online. There still seems to be a fair amount available at the values. The time around Sept 20 is super busy.

What does the pin look like? Is it email?

I'm just wondering what I should look out for as I've never gotten one and concerned that I'm trashing stuff without opening it.

We got 2 FD pins as well. We're already going during the FD promotion and sadly we won't be using ours either.

It looks like a poster or a flyer with all the disney touches. You can't miss it ... unless it goes right into your spam folder.:surfweb:

It comes from Disney Destinations! I put a filter on my mail so it will go straight to the top of the inbox and starred (gmail)!:cool1:

I got it too, my second one in as many weeks, but I'm already booked with my mom's pin code earlier this year for the 40% off room (which worked out better for us). Tempting to bump up my planned April trip to December, but I just don't think I can do it.

:confused3I rec'd a pin for 20% off regular rate, or 82.00 at Value...I've read this thing over and over. I'm confused, can I use this if I am also on the DDP? They dont combine offers...do they?

Heres the fine print

The number of rooms available for this discount is limited. Minimum length-of-stay requirements may apply for Friday or Saturday arrivals. Additional per-adult charges apply if more than two adults per room. No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required. Offer is nontransferable.

I wonder if the DDP is considered a discount???

First, $82 is regular rate during value season. So that's not a discount unless you are traveling during another season.

If you got free DDP than yes it is considered a discount.

I also received a second pin code for oct/nov FD.

I booked our trip in Nov with the first code (Mod resort) and was shocked to receive the second one.
