Are all SSR building open now?

DW, DS, DD and I are going to SSR on May 22. We're DVCers, but have mever been to SSR. I saw the map and it looks enormous!!! Are all of the rooms open now? If so, anyone have a preferrence? Thanks in advance!

Nope, only a few buildings are open. Congress Park and one building in the Springs I think.

Not quite. The three buildings right across from the main pool are called "The Springs." One is open now, and last I heard the other two will be opening in May and June.

There are five other buildings currently under construction across the lake from The Springs. Those buildings are considered "The Paddock." Some, if not all of the buildings in The Paddock will be open before the end of 2005.

The buildings you are thinking of will largely be built on the current site of DI's old Fairway Villas. THAT is the construction scheduled for completion in '07. Not sure what official name they might give that part of the resort.

All four buidlings in Congress Park opened in 2004. The first building in The Springs opened in March, 2005 and the remaining two will be opening this spring followed by the five buildings in The Paddock - all in 2005.

The recently announced (but without further public details or plans) Phase III buildings (another six buildings) are supposed to open in 2007. All of the original twelve buildings should be open by this fall.

We stayed in the Springs in March and looked like they almost had the 2nd Springs building ready to go!

I can't wait to see all the buildings finished! Congress Park was great when we were there in Dec and the Springs has a great location relative to High Rock Springs and the Carriage House. I really hope they build a bridge over the canal so you can walk along the water all the way to the Carriage House.

The map shows 4 Congress Park buildings, 3 in the Springs, and 5 in the unnamed section, are these the ones going to be finished in 2007?

Those 5 buildings will be called The Paddock(s). They should be done by the end of this year. The ones to be finished by 2007 are not even on the map.
