Are all counter service basically the same?

I have plenty of ADR's for table service meals. Are there any counter service places that are better than others or are all counter service basically the same?

Any favorites in each park?

I would say that MOST of them are very similar...with the usual hamburgers, chicken strips, etc.

If I had to pick a favorite in MK it would be either Cosmic Rays or CHH

Epcot has the widest variety.

I agree witht eh previous poster who says they're much the same - the only exceptions would be the places on World Showcase at Epcot as they tend to feature 'local' cuisine.

Some favourites of ours are:

Magic Kingdom - Columbia Harbour House
Epcot - Electric Umbrella and Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chips in the UK

In my opinion, the CS offerings in AK and HS leave a lot to be desired. Rosie's at HS is OK as is Flame Tree BBQ at AK but definitely not favourites of ours.

I don't agree that all the CS restaurants are basically the same. Sure there are several of the burger/chicken strips variety but we always eat at least one CS per day and as I am not really a 'burger' person, we have done many vacations without eating one burger.

In AK, I love Flame tree for BBQ chicken, ribs etc. Yak and Yeti is pretty decent for Chinese food but DD loves Pizzafari.

In MK, as a previous poster mentioned and my favorite too is Columbia Harbor House - clam chowder and tuna sandwiches.

In HS, we like Starrin Rolls for smoked salmon and cheese bagels and there is also ABC for fish and chips.

In Epcot, there are lots - Tangierine Cafe stands out and the English chippy - oh and the Cantina for decent Mexican food. We're trying Lotus Blossom for Chinese, I think this time and the fab sandwiches in Norway.
