Are ADR's a must and where should we eat?

We are taking our first WDW trip as a family in a couple of months. We've made two ADR's but that is it because we really don't know where to eat. We have two questions:

1 Are ADR's a must for dinner every night? With two very young kids our plans sometimes change on a day to day basis.

2. Any places anyone can recommend (or tell us to stay away from) to us? We would be eating with two very picky eaters one only being a year old.

Any advice is appreciated thanks!!!

If you want a sit down meal every night, then you should book ADRs. I've seen people get turned away from table service restaurants because they had no ADR.

That being said, it is possible to eat at a table service restaurant without an ADR. You may have to eat at "off" times though or go to a resort restaurant instead of a theme park restaurant.

The answer to question 1 is it depends on where you want to eat and when you are going. At certain restaurants (ie--Cinderella's Royal Table, Le Cellier), you will have to have an ADR. Yes, they are that popular and good. Other places you can probably walk up to unless you are travelling at the busiest times--Major holidays, spring break and such.

For question 2, check out the menus either here on the DISBoards or on Allears.net. Both give alot of good info on all the restaurants.

Good luck in planning!
