Arcades: Do I need quarters?

I've been saving quarters for the arcades at AKL and CR. I have about $35 worth. Now I'm wondering if the arcades actually use quarters. Do they use those machines where you put in a dollar and you get tokens for the games? I need to know if I should get all my quarters ge into bills.

The games take quarters.. at least they did when DS dragged me into the arcade during our November 2003 trip.
You also win tickets from most games to exchange for prizes.
